Town Events Working Group
The Town Events Working Group develops ideas and plans for town events which feed back into the Promoting Kirton Committee meetings who are in control of the Town Council's budget for events. Residents are very welcome to join in at any time and put forward ideas for new events but also contribute to the development and support of planned events.
Car Park Working Group
The Car Park Working Group focuses on the work required to further develop plans for solutions to town car parking. Residents are very welcome to join in at any time to put forward ideas and help with plans for any solutions.
s106 Development Working Group
s106 is a levy placed on housing developers during the planning application decision process, and is designed to provide monies for the development of amenities and infrastructure in the town, specified in the decision notices from the local authority (North Lincolnshire Council). The s106 Development Working Group focuses on the best ways to spend any s106 monies due to Kirton in Lindsey, developing ideas for projects and looking at specific areas of need relevant to how the monies can be allocated. Residents are very welcome to join in at any time to put forward ideas and help to develop plans.
