Grants are available through the Town's Precept for community groups and projects, though the level of finance the Council can provide is limited by law. We will, however, consider any reasonable requests accompanied by details of your project and your most recent accounts.

The application period for 2024-2025 Budgeted Grants closed in November 2023.   There remains funding in the Community Pot for the financial year 2024-2025 if any groups are looking for funding before April 2025.

Groups applying must have a constitution and a bank account with two signatories, and unfortunately under the restrictions of the Local Government Act 1972 we are unable to fund individuals.  Further details are available from the Town Clerk.

The 2025-2026 application period for Budgeted Grants will open in the autumn and close in November 2024.
